Cross Country Skiing

Snowbasin resort has a great cross county track! Kenzi, Zeppelin and I spent a Saturday afternoon exploring the trails. We rented our ski's up there and went around one loop and then skied back to the car ate lunch and went out again. The weather alternated from sunny to cloudy with some flurries.
Next time we go out might have to explore some of the forest service trails that link with the groomed trials.

Middle of Nowhere Center of the Universe

This year I have been working in Boulder, Utah at the Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch. I Get Paid to cook but I do many other things. Some of the highlights this year are the backpacking trips that McKenzie and I have been on, the 2012 retreat with Daniel Pinchbeck and Denise McKenna. The retreat was about the end of the Mayan Calendar and the end of the world or not. Coming up this year is a wemans yoga retreat and onther trasformational retreat with Mr. Pinchebeck and Graham Handcock from some far way land.

4 Wheelin and cleaning up after dirty Red Necks

Last weekend McKenzie and I joined Rob, Natalie, Porter, Presley, and Paton, on a super fun and chill camping trip to Montie Cristo!

We went four wheeling on some bending, winding, rugged trails. I can believe how fast you can travel on those motorized machines. I started to wonder why I like backpacking so much.

Kenz and I slept in the tent and during the night a giant moose tried to get us. So we went and slept in the heated trailer.

In the morning we all just hung out. I think Nices and Nephews are the coolest things in the world.

We did clean up a lot of garbage and broken glass was everywere. So remeber to give a hoot and not pollute becuase it sure is ugly!

Craker Lake ~ Glaicer National Park

"Make sure you bring extra tent pegs you two are going to have some weather up there."  - Backcountry Ranger

McKenzie and I had just spent the last half hour at the backcountry ranger station picking out our route to go backpacking in the backcountry in Glacier National Park.  We choose Craker Lake.
